MACHEESE.TXT BAKED MACARONI AND CHEESE 16 oz small elbow macaroni 1 large brick of velveeta cheese 1 12 oz can of evaporated milk 2 beaten eggs (carnation or pet) margarine salt and pepper 1. Cook macaroni in boiling water for about 6 minutes. (Do not cook completely). Drain, rinsing with cold water. 2. In the pot used for cooking the macaroni, mix the macaroni and eggs until the macaroni is coated. 3. In a 9X13 baking dish, put half of the macaroni. 4. Dot with thin pats of margarine. 5. Salt and pepper to taste. 6. Cover with velveeta slices. 7. Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 with other half of macaroni. 8. Pour the can of milk over the macaroni. 9. Cover with velveeta slices, making sure the macaroni is completely covered with cheese or the macaroni will dry out. 10. Bake at 350 degrees until top is browned lightly, about 30 minutes.
