                       MANDARIN ORANGE CAKE

  1 box butter cake mix              1/2 cup cooking oil
  4 eggs                             1 can mandarin oranges, cut up
  1/2 cup chopped pecans               with juice reserved

 1. Mix cake mix, oil, eggs, and juice from the can of oranges for the
    time specified on the box.

 2. Add cut up oranges and nuts.

 3. Bake in 3 layers, in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until done.

                            ICING

  1 12 oz carton cool whip           1 medium can crushed pineapple
  1 large package instant vanilla
      pudding mix

 4. Mix icing ingredients together with a fork and ice the cake.
